A Note From Our Founder
"The gift sack in this design is the most visually interesting section. It is packed with candy canes, bows, and presents in contrasting reds, greens, and yellows, all sitting against the large warm orange of the sack itself. Painting it section by section feels almost like solving a puzzle. Under warm white LED it glows like a classic Christmas illustration. Switch to red and the whole piece takes on a richly festive intensity. It is one of the more rewarding designs in the range to paint and display."
First-Hand Tip: Start with Santa's red suit, the largest single colour area on the board. Getting that bold red down first anchors the whole composition and makes it easier to judge the contrast of the smaller candy, bow, and present sections in the gift sack. Save the white beard and trim for last, applying those sections with a clean, fully loaded brush for the crispest result.

Care Instructions
Keep paint pots tightly closed between sessions to prevent drying. Rinse brushes thoroughly with warm water between colour changes and at the end of each session. Do not immerse the LED base in water. Wipe the wooden base with a dry cloth only. The USB cable and LED component are for indoor use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I change the LED colour?
A: Touch the wooden base once to turn the LED on and cycle to the next colour. Each touch moves through the seven modes: warm white, red, blue, green, purple, cyan, and yellow. Hold for three seconds to turn the light off.
Q: Is a USB adapter included?
A: The USB cable is included. A USB adapter (wall plug) is not included, as most homes already have one. The LED base works with any standard USB adapter, laptop USB port, or USB power bank.
Q: Do I paint on the front or the back of the acrylic board?
A: Paint on the printed side of the board, the side with the numbered design. The LED light shines through from the back once the board is slotted into the base, illuminating your paint from behind to create the glowing effect.
Q: How much paint do I need to apply for the glow effect to work?
A: Apply each colour with a firmly loaded brush rather than a thin wash. Thin or streaky sections can appear patchy when backlit. One solid, even coat per section is enough for a vibrant finished result.
Q: Can children use this kit?
A: Yes. The paint by numbers process is suitable for older children and adults. The acrylic paints are non-toxic and water-based. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children, particularly during LED base assembly and when the USB cable is connected.
Q: Are more designs available in this range?
A: Yes. More designs are available in this range. Browse the full collection to find the one that suits your style or makes the best gift. Visit our Christmas Glow LED Paint by Numbers collection to see the complete range.
